ENGR 399: Integrated Science and Design

Use SciFinder for international patents that you can't find in Google Patents.

Patents are available when you search SciFinder. Limit by Document Type in the left hand toolbar on the search results page. 

A few things to note about patents in SciFinder:

• Patents included here are international. Patents will be in the national language of the country.  Look for patents that begin with US for patents specific to the United States.
• SciFinder will allow you to look at the full text of up to 5 patents during a single session.

You do have to create an account before you can use SciFinder.
