Data.gov is the United States government's open data website. It provides access to datasets published by agencies across the federal government. Data.gov is intended to provide access to government open data to the public, achieve agency missions, drive innovation, fuel economic activity, and uphold the ideals of an open and transparent government.

Note: Each user is required to create and login via an account using their Coastal email address.  The “Access through your institution” button does not provide access.
A vast archive of social science data for research and instruction. Contains over 15,000 studies with accompanying data files in social and behavioral research, most of which are already prepared for use with statistical software such as SPSS and SAS. 

PolicyMap is a U.S. national data and mapping tool that combines a curated, comprehensive geographic data library with simple, robust mapping and analytics tools. University faculty, researchers, and students use it to create compelling maps of up to five layers, export trend charts with key benchmarks, download data for use in other tools, generate on-the-fly reports and upload your own data to view it with ours.
