Introduction

Ebooks can be found directly in their database, listed on the homepage of this guide. Some ebooks can be found in University Libraries' OneSearch. This page will explain how to search for ebooks in OneSearch.

Finding Ebooks in OneSearch

Most of our ebooks can be found by searching University Libraries' catalog using OneSearch. To use OneSearch:

Go to the Library homepage
Enter your search in the OneSearch search box and hit enter
Sign in if prompted to
Under "Availability" select "Available online," and under "Source Type" select "Books"
You can select a book you wish to view and look in the "View Online" section to find the link(s) to online access

Number of Users

Proquest Ebook Central (formerly Ebrary) This link opens in a new window
When you click through to the record page, under "Availability" it will say how many copies (simultaneous uses) are available. Many are unlimited, but some items have limited copies available.
eBooks on Ebsco This link opens in a new window
On the book detail page, the section called "concurrent user" will indicate how many people can simultaneously use the book.
