ENGL 484: Children's Literature

This guide contains information to help you identify useful library resources for finding and evaluating literature appropriate to elementary and middle school. The pages in this guide will help you locate primary and secondary sources for your Annotated Bibliography. Use the options on the left side to move through different types of resources and how they can be used for your project. Helpful tips for citing in MLA and information on getting help from the library are also here. 

University Libraries' juvenile collection is located on the second floor of the library, to the right of the stairs. The books in that collection are primarily for ages pre-k through middle school, although some young adult novels more suited to high school students are also included. The library catalog will identify these items as located in "Juvenile".
