Welcome to University Libraries at Coastal Carolina University. We help students, faculty, and staff locate and utilize information resources. We offer a wide array of services so feel free to explore our site and learn more about how we can help elevate teaching, learning, and educational experience.
University Libraries consists of Kimbel Library, the original library built in 1977, Bryan Information Commons, which opened in 2012, and the soon to be complete Thompson Library (Est Spring 2024). We also house book collections and archival materials offsite at the Coastal Science Center. Each facility delivers unique programming so please take time to review the distinct services provided at each location.
We are also available online via chat or text and provide access to roughly one million ebooks and thousands of journals electronically. And if we don't have the physical items you need we will work to acquire it by way of PASCAL Delivers or Interlibrary Loan. University Libraries also has an active technology lending program so be sure to check with us regarding inventory.

University Libraries of Coastal Carolina University consists of Access Services, Research and Scholarship, Information Technology and Collections and the Horry County Archives Center. This integrated unit provides resources and services to CCU students, faculty and staff.
