When researching, you may identify articles and books that the University Libraries does not own. Do not pay for these items! The Library will help you get books and articles from other libraries. Two free services available to all students at CCU lend you materials from other libraries.
If the University Libraries does not have access to a specific journal article you need, request it from another library through interlibrary loan (ILL). For more details about this service, see the library's Interlibrary Loan page. The following video explains how to request items through this service directly from a database. You can also request books that are not available within South Carolina through this service too.
