Use your CCU username and password when prompted to access Library materials from off-campus.
Access to the University Libraries' resources may be blocked from your worksite. Firewalls at some businesses and school systems including Horry County School may block access to University Libraries' resources due to security precautions. We recommend starting research from the library's databases first, but if you cannot access library resources from your location, Google Scholar may be a helpful supplement to identifying sources that you can access later from a non-work internet connection. If you are unable to access the library's resources from home or on-campus, please contact us.
Off-campus students who live near another PASCAL library can have book and item requests sent to that library for pickup (for information on making a PASCAL request, please see the video on the next page). Than, when making the PASCAL request, change the "Preferred Pickup Institution" from Coastal Carolina University to the university or college you would prefer to retrieve it at. Make sure to have your CINO ID handy when you go to check it out.
If you are an off-campus student who lives outside of Horry County, and you do not live near a PASCAL institution, please contact Access Services for further help in accessing materials.
