The majority of the Creality printers are similar to the Ultimakers. Unfortunately, some parts will have to be done manually.
1. When loading the filament put the spool on the spool holder at the top of the machine
2. Then feed the filament into the runout sensor. Once it is through the runout sensor, a light should shine blue.
3. After feeding the filament through the runout sensor, feed into the feeding gear until you feel it stop.
4. Once you feel it stop, pull on the red spring lever at the back to disengage the feeder gear. Keep the feeder gear disengaged and feed the filament all the way through the tube till you feel it stop (it may take a few tries).
1. At the bottom left of the main menu, press the blue number. This will set the temperature of the nozzle head. Set it to 190-220 degrees.
2. At the bottom right of the main menu, press the blue number. This will set the temperature of the print bed. Set it to 40-60 degrees.
3. Navigate to Settings>Refuel. Press the top box and type in 10. This will tell the printer how much filament to purge. We do this to make sure the nozzle is extruding properly. Next, press advance.
4. You should start to see some filament being extruded.
5. It may not be the desired color (in this example it is teal when we want silver). Press advance again until desired color is visible.
6. Remove the filament and start print
1. Navigate to the print menu
2. Press the file name of your print
3. Press print
